Mid-Columbia Macintosh User Group (McMUG) monthly meeting:McMUG is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing together Macintosh computer users for the purpose of exchanging information and providing education. In addition, McMUG provides many services and benefits including a monthly newsletter (The Finder), a subscription to McMUG's group discussion mailing list, access to the McMUG disk, CD-ROM and training video tape libraries. A network of knowledgeable Macintosh users can help you with your Mac-related questions. Monthly meetings include demonstrations of new hardware and software. Drawings for door prizes are part of every monthly meeting, at which McMUG members can win the latest versions of the commercial software that has been reviewed in The Finder. Columbia Basin Bass Club:The largest family oriented bass fishing club in the northwest. Meets monthly the last Tuesday at the Benton PUD building at 7:00 pm. Visitors are welcome to attend meetings for free. Every meeting includes a presentation relating to bass fishing in the northwest. Attend a meeting and get to know other local bass fisherpeople.
